Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean and sanitize process equipment and maintain sanitized conditions for producing and packaging quality products.
  • •Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and maintain housekeeping across plant areas.
  • •Operate powered cleaning equipment and safely demonstrate use of tools such as floor jacks, trash compactors, and floor scrubbers.
  • •Disassemble and reassemble machines, pumps, bucket elevators, slurry equipment, filters, and other processing equipment.
  • •Follow safety and hygiene guidelines, PPE requirements, GMPs, and chemical handling; support continuous improvement (including 5S) and safety training.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to follow safe lifting/carrying instructions and identify/report defective equipment.

  • •Knowledge of preparing and using chemical cleaning agents consistent with manufacturer recommendations.
  • •Ability to operate powered cleaning equipment safely and in a safe, knowledgeable manner.
