Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
  • •Safely locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer client lots.
  • •Verify vehicle identification details (VINs, mileage, sub-series, options) and ensure accurate system entry.
  • •Document exterior and interior condition and identify damage, missing components, or inoperable features.
  • •Submit daily activity and production reports and collaborate with Wholesale Specialists and other Manheim teams.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required (Level 1) or plus 3+ years related field experience (Level 2) or plus 5+ years related field experience with previous vehicle inspection experience (Senior Level).

  • •Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.
  • •Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical) required for the Senior Level.
  • •Experience and judgment to conduct accurate, detailed inspections with minimal supervision, following Manheim standards.
