Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and distribute informational financial materials for service members and families.
•Coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Utilize virtual counseling and other electronic communication methods as needed for support.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree with 4 years of experience or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's.
•3+ years of financial counseling experience.
•Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
•Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
•Be able to obtain a favorable adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
