Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and ship well-scoped features and improvements with support through design review, testing, and rollout.
  • •Own smaller tasks and components end to end, including clarifying requirements, writing code, and validating changes in test and production.
  • •Improve reliability and performance by fixing bugs, addressing bottlenecks, and contributing to refactors for readability, maintainability, and correctness.
  • •Support operational work at your level (e.g., debugging issues, improving runbooks, learning incident-handling practices) before formal on-call.
  • •Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to understand how your changes interact with upstream and downstream systems.

Key Requirements

  • •0–2+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent from internships, research, or significant personal projects), ideally in backend, infrastructure, full stack, or other production-oriented systems.
  • •Proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript) used for software development.
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals including data structures/algorithms, writing clean testable code, debugging, and working with version control (e.g., Git).
  • •Practical experience with relational or NoSQL storage and schema design.
  • •Competency with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration using AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
