Job Summary

Support construction supervision across multiple projects in the UAE by overseeing day-to-day HSE performance and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client standards, and international best practices. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; manage corrective actions; and support incident investigations and root-cause analysis. Review and approve contractor HSE plans and permits to work, lead safety briefings, and maintain detailed HSE documentation while coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee day-to-day HSE performance on construction sites to ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client standards, and international best practices.
•Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; issue corrective actions and follow up to closure.
•Support the Resident Engineer and project leadership with HSE reporting, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
•Review and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, permits to work, and emergency response procedures.
•Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns; monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate controls are implemented; maintain HSE documentation and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
•8–12 years of HSE experience in construction supervision within the UAE or GCC.
•Strong understanding of UAE HSE legislation, local authority requirements, and international standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001).
•Demonstrated experience managing HSE on building, infrastructure, or mixed-use development projects.
•Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent are mandatory.
