Job Summary

Provide on-site service support for customers by restoring functionality to collaboration and AV equipment while partnering with the Global Helpdesk. Responsibilities include reading schematics/blueprints, performing preventative maintenance, cleaning AV equipment, installing and troubleshooting control programs (AMX/Crestron/Firmware), supporting networked devices, handling cabling/connectors, and performing video codec/UCC troubleshooting. Includes client training and adherence to OSHA standards, with travel to customer sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Support customers at customer sites in partnership with the Global Helpdesk to restore functionality of customer assets.
•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, and perform preventative maintenance visits.
•Clean AV equipment (e.g., camera lenses, monitors, equipment fans) and complete accurate job documentation.
•Install and support control programs (AMX/Crestron/Firmware) including upload/download, minor edits, and compile/upload/download as needed.
•Perform field service tasks such as pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects/ceiling mounts, and troubleshoot video codecs and UCC devices; provide client training as needed.

•Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Basic computer knowledge and understanding of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control.

•Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record that meets driving standards; 3–5 years audiovisual integration experience is preferred.
