Job Summary

Join the Akamai Storage Engineering team to develop and maintain Akamai’s cloud storage platform. You’ll design and implement frontend applications, support API services, and integrate software with platform services and downstream systems across Akamai’s cloud ecosystem. Using Python for backend services and modern web technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript and React, you’ll troubleshoot complex issues and drive improvements in quality, maintainability, and performance.

Key Requirements

•5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
•Strong professional experience developing backend services using Python.
•Experience building modern web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React.
•Good knowledge of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL.
•Willingness to learn new frameworks and programming languages; good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
