Job Summary

Serve as a trusted advisor and primary relationship lead for assigned clients, delivering strategic guidance across health and welfare benefit programs. Manage client relationships and advise on benefit plan strategy, carrier/vendor solutions, and renewal execution, including implementations and open enrollment. Conduct financial, utilization, and trend analysis; prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reporting; support compliance and legislative guidance (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA); and maintain accurate CRM and client records.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendor partners.
•Act as subject matter expert on health and welfare benefits, carrier/vendor products, and market solutions.
•Advise on benefit plan strategy, negotiate terms/pricing with carriers and wholesalers, and recommend renewal actions.
•Oversee implementations and support open enrollment strategy, employee presentations, and communication materials.
•Provide compliance support and legislative guidance (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, Health Care Reform) and prepare reporting and compliance audits.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of client management experience in the employee benefits industry.
•Knowledge of benefits administration and health care reform.
•Experience advising on self-funded, core, voluntary, and ancillary benefits and enrollment/eligibility systems options.
•BA/BS preferred.
•Resident state life and health insurance license.
