Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate grinding, batching, pelleting, ingredient transfer, steam, and compressed air systems to produce and deliver feed safely and efficiently.
  • •Dump bag ingredients into micro system bins, repair damaged bags, and rotate feed/ingredient bins according to schedule.
  • •Record and maintain accurate manufacturing documents and reports, including dating/initialing records and documenting process downtime.
  • •Maintain finished feed inventory in the control room, obtain inventories at shift start, and scale in/out ingredient delivery trucks.
  • •Assist maintenance troubleshooting feed manufacturing equipment and help with receiving issue resolution; perform daily safety inspections and required housekeeping.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day and perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
  • •Lift up to 50 pounds and work while climbing ladders and stairs and at high levels.
  • •Read and write in English and have good communication skills.
  • •Operate manufacturing equipment with training, including operating equipment by computer after training.
  • •Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and maintain a flexible schedule.
