You’ll perform transistor-level design, verify with advanced simulations, and collaborate with SerDes architects to meet performance, power, area, and yield targets in cutting-edge silicon process nodes.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and optimize high-speed SerDes PHY analog blocks for 224G/112G SerDes, including Clock and Data Recovery, Phase Interpolators, DLL, high-speed TX/RX frontends.
•Architect low-jitter, low-power, and high-linearity circuits meeting BER and jitter specifications.
•Perform transistor-level design, simulation, and optimization for PVT corners, aging, mismatch, and reliability.
•Collaborate with SerDes architects to translate system-level requirements into circuit-level specifications and contribute to architecture tradeoffs.
•Drive pre-silicon verification using Spectre/HSPICE, AMS simulations, and MATLAB/Python modeling; define postsilicon validation plans and debug/bring-up in lab.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with 14+ years of experience, or 12+ years with a Master’s degree, or 8+ years with a Ph.D.
•Expertise in analog circuit design for high-speed SerDes, transmitter/receiver, clocking, PLL, and DLL.
•Proficiency in analog design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso/ADE or equivalent.
•Demonstrated experience in post-silicon validation and debugging.
•Knowledge of advanced FinFET CMOS process technologies.
