Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan, prepare, and present learning sessions that meet curriculum requirements for the whole ability range, motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.
  • •Organize classroom provision and learning resources, create positive learning displays, and embed school language and attitudes throughout the curriculum.
  • •Assess and track student progress in line with school assessments (including Target Tracker), use data to influence planning and intervention, and provide feedback at parent meetings.
  • •Follow the school’s behavior policy, manage classes effectively, act decisively when necessary, and communicate with parents using school systems such as CPOMS; run a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child, with a high level of professionalism and consideration of children’s well-being.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
