Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialized instruction to prelicensure nursing students in assigned courses, including proactive one-to-one coaching and responsive support to learner needs.
  • •Deliver engaging virtual one-to-many events and facilitate synchronous student interaction in a virtual environment aligned to learning objectives.
  • •Monitor student progress in competency development and course completion, using student information and learning behaviors to identify needs for proactive support.
  • •Develop instructional materials aligned with learning objectives, course competencies, and instructional interventions for both student self-service and virtual events.
  • •Facilitate online student communities to support peer collaboration and effective faculty interaction, and collaborate with other instructional and program faculty to ensure continuity and quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree in Nursing and all applicable nursing licenses or certifications.
  • •Active, unencumbered compact/multistate RN licensure with ability to secure required active, unencumbered licenses in all states.
  • •3 years of highly successful academic practice based on student outcomes in the relevant nursing area, including one year of online faculty experience.
  • •Demonstrated subject matter expert in Pharmacology.
  • •Recent clinical or teaching experience in the subject matter within the past 5 years, plus availability for a student-centered schedule including evenings/weekends (Tuesday–Saturday with at least a 4-hour Saturday schedule).
