Job Summary

Create and generate CAD drawings for integrated audio visual customer projects, coordinating with design, project, and project engineering teams to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery. Provide daily customer service, research components for accurate depictions, and serve as liaison when the Senior CAD Technician is unavailable. Support installations (projector/screen structures), operate printers/plotters, utilize labeling software for rack and field wiring, and calibrate equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and generate necessary drawings for integrated AVI-SPL customer projects.
•Coordinate with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to complete drawings accurately and timely.
•Provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers daily.
•Research components and produce accurate depictions for drawings.
•Assist with projector and screen support structure installations; operate printers/plotters and use labeling software for rack and field wiring.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD and experience producing CAD drawings for fabrication/installation.
•Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
•Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and control systems, plus understanding of site surveys.
•Familiarity with Audio Visual, Mechanical, and Electrical facilities drawings.
•Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of CAD experience preferred and 1 year of customer interaction preferred.
