Job Summary

Grow organic revenue by maintaining and expanding an assigned book of business, building relationships with prospects and key client contacts. Identify and qualify new business opportunities from prospect lists, target smaller accounts, and meet sales pipeline and revenue metrics. Collaborate with Account Management to close deals, create sales proposals and presentations, and use tools such as Salesforce to review results, troubleshoot issues, and adjust strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Initiate, qualify, and develop new business relationships using an assigned prospect list.
•Maintain and grow an assigned book of business by targeting smaller, less sophisticated accounts and building toward more complex segments.
•Develop sales proposals and presentations consistent with NFP standards, often with assistance from more senior sales team members.
•Meet key metrics including revenue, pipeline prospects, meetings per month, and closed sales.
•Report sales results, strategize changes, troubleshoot issues, and use Salesforce to track performance.

Key Requirements

•More than 3 years of directly related industry experience.
•Insurance Broker's license required (e.g., P&C or Life and Health broker's license) representing coverages being sold.
•Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills for proposals and presentations.
•Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs with effective time management and decision-making.
•Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both written and oral communications, with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
