Key Responsibilities

  • •Own order-to-cash end-to-end, designing and operating invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition workflows through Tabs, Stripe, and Campfire.
  • •Lead the monthly revenue close, targeting a 5-business-day close and running SFDC/Tabs/Campfire three-way reconciliations with audit-ready flux analysis.
  • •Own ASC 606 revenue recognition, including usage-based revenue, multi-element arrangements, contract modifications, SSP allocations, deferred revenue, contra-revenue, and deferred sales commissions.
  • •Lead the 2nd AICPA audit for FYE 2027, managing the auditor PBC list, coordinating external advisors, and defending revenue and close positions.
  • •Manage the offshore accounting team and build revenue reporting dashboards (AR aging, DSO trends, cash forecasting, revenue waterfall, deferred revenue roll-forward), partnering with FP&A.

Key Requirements

  • •6-9 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 4 years at high-growth SaaS or enterprise software (Series B-D stage).
  • •Hands-on expert experience with a usage-based billing platform, strongly preferred: Tabs (also acceptable: Maxio/Chargify, Chargebee, Zuora, or Stripe Billing).
  • •Experience personally writing and defending ASC 606 revenue recognition memos for external auditors, including multi-element arrangements and deferred commissions under ASC 340-40.
  • •Strong three-way reconciliation capability across billing platforms, payment processors, and the general ledger.
  • •Experience leading Big4 or strong regional audits as an internal audit lead (managed PBC list, ran audit meetings, negotiated materiality, closed an audit).
