Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform overhaul, rework, repair, inspection, machining, deburring, emerying, and lapping operations to meet quality standards.
  • •Set up and operate inspection and measurement activities, including receiving/visual/dimensional checks and use of measuring equipment and CMM (I.D., O.D., drop height).
  • •Maintain traceable documentation and records including specifications, procedures, forms, checklists, log sheets, unit history records, routing sheets, and schedules.
  • •Handle material control and handling tasks (unloading, receiving, storing, disbursing, packaging, shipping) and maintain point-of-use inventory.
  • •Support shop operations with preventive maintenance and minor equipment maintenance, and help solve process issues with fellow employees and supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience (or 8 years without a HS diploma/GED).
  • •Ability to work 2nd shift hours: Monday–Friday 3:30 pm–12:00 am.
  • •Ability to perform work using service manuals, work instructions, service bulletins, technical orders, and blueprints within established methods and procedures.
  • •Ability to perform inspection operations and acceptance/rejection determination using established procedures and documentation.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
