Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Automation & Industrialisation roadmap, including industrialisation from prototype to stable serial production.
  • •Partner with engineering on DFM/DFA and design for automation, shaping production process and line architecture.
  • •Define automation concepts, specifications, supplier selection, commissioning, and ramp-up for semi-automated production systems.
  • •Drive production-readiness activities including PFMEA, process validation, and cycle-time/capacity/yield optimization.
  • •Standardize and replicate production systems across manufacturing sites and develop the manufacturing technology roadmap for higher volumes.

Key Requirements

  • •15-20+ years of relevant industrial experience, taking complex electromechanical products from prototype into high-volume or rapidly scaling serial production.
  • •Experience in aerospace, defence, advanced electronics, or mechatronics, with hands-on knowledge of semi-automated and automated assembly systems.
  • •Hands-on experience with PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens preferred) and industrial tooling.
  • •Solid understanding of DFM/DFA, PFMEA, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • •Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, with strong communication and the ability to lead diverse stakeholders.
