Key Responsibilities

  • •Study equipment performance and reliability, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is appropriate and cost effective for company product manufacturing.
  • •Use data to make improvements to overall equipment performance, including compiling and evaluating data to set equipment specification limits and variables.
  • •Provide technical support for equipment repair and process engineering organizations, and establish action plans and preventive maintenance schedules to increase uptime and resolve equipment problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
  • •2+ years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.
  • •Experience as an Equipment Engineer in Ion Implantation.
  • •Equipment experience with Axcelis GSD, Varian E220/E500, and AMAT Viista.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques, including semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
