Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and implement robust API services for European customers.
  • •Lead architecture designs and help create product roadmap direction.
  • •Research and drive adoption of new technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
  • •Analyze complex systems to determine optimal approaches and drive change.
  • •Mentor and empower other engineers, contribute to code reviews and technical designs, and troubleshoot issues across the stack.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in software development, including building backend services in a professional environment.
  • •Expert knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and the software development lifecycle.
  • •Proven ability to influence technical direction and contribute to the architecture of complex, distributed systems.
  • •Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems.
  • •Experience building services with Java, SQL and AWS (Elasticsearch is a nice-to-have).
