Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems (air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, etc.)
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules on building HVAC systems
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams and leaders to keep systems in peak operating condition
  • •Follow all regulations and SpaceX procedures, including safety and quality standards (OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, NEC)
  • •Perform ductwork modifications and various repairs, including brazing/soldering and refrigerant evacuation and charging

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • •5+ years of professional experience working with HVAC systems
  • •Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies and industry standards
  • •Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
  • •Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, lifting 25 lbs unassisted) and work on ladders/lifts; and work with fumes/odors/noise
