Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day fabrication area operations to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
  • •Manage Kan-Ban and MRP requirements to meet department service level goals.
  • •Oversee barstock inventory including daily transactions and regular cycle counts.
  • •Manage employee performance to maintain standards in efficiency, productivity, and accountability; provide recognition and feedback.
  • •Maintain accurate inventory of production tools/fixtures/supplies and train/assist assigned personnel while ensuring strict adherence to safety rules (stop work if unsafe) and report safety concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates Degree in Industrial Technology (or related) with 3 years’ manufacturing experience, or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 5 years’ fabrication manufacturing experience.
  • •Experience leading in a manufacturing environment with strong organizational skills and the ability to work with all plant departments.
  • •Ability to handle difficult conversations related to employee performance and conduct.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • •Experience with internal and/or external regulatory audits and exceptional leadership to motivate others.
