Job Summary

Own production stability and platform operations for Nationwide’s actuarial compute infrastructure, spanning Windows on-prem environments and AWS-hosted resources. Support and enhance GGY AXIS/GlaaS, Beowulf HPC, ETL pipelines (including SSIS), workflow orchestration, and external data integrations. Improve reliability through incident response, monitoring, patching, backup/DR, and security controls (IAM, KMS). Partner with engineering and vendors to automate operations and drive modernization.

Key Responsibilities

•Support and enhance actuarial compute platforms and services including GGY AXIS, GlaaS, Beowulf HPC, AWS resources, and external data integrations.
•Maintain and optimize AWS-hosted actuarial infrastructure and supporting database services used for modeling workloads.
•Administer and improve IAM roles, access controls, KMS-backed encryption, and shared AWS platform capabilities.
•Participate in production support, incident response, operational monitoring, patching, and platform reliability activities.
•Drive automation and modernization across provisioning, monitoring, deployment, patching, access management, disaster recovery, backup, resiliency, and capacity planning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,500 - 143,500 annually

•Experience with infrastructure security, vulnerability remediation, patching, and operational monitoring.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues across compute, storage, networking, access, and batch processing.
