Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and test landing gear shock struts and components per Collins drawings and Acceptance Test Procedure requirements.
  • •Perform replacement, repair, and retro-fit of landing gear and related components per Assembly Process Sheets, Engineering Instructions, and drawings.
  • •Conduct electrical and hydraulic functional tests per Engineering Instructions and Acceptance Test Procedures.
  • •Participate in a safe, team-oriented environment and support TPM, LEAN, 5S, and FOD prevention principles.
  • •Support quality initiatives through operator-self-verification (OSV) and perform other assigned duties (e.g., calibration, sealing, installation).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma, or equivalent work experience plus a recognized and accredited college/trade program.
  • •Previous landing gear assembly experience or 3+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environment.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of hydraulic & electrical control systems and using test equipment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to follow assembly instructions and/or blueprints.
  • •Eligible to work in Canada and meet ITAR and CCGP requirements.
