Job Summary

Own executive oversight for Zip’s largest, most complex enterprise implementations, serving as the strategic authority for time-to-value. Define and scale implementation strategy, governance, and delivery playbooks across discovery, solution architecture, workflow design, and testing. Lead and mentor a team of Implementation Managers and Solutions Architects while partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to turn learnings into roadmap and pre-sales scoping improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the Executive Sponsor and senior implementation authority on strategic, Fortune 500, and highly customized enterprise deployments, partnering with C-suite stakeholders to drive time-to-value.
•Evaluate delivery methodologies and design scalable, repeatable processes for discovery, solution architecture, workflow design, and testing, standardizing playbooks while preserving flexibility.
•Act as a player-coach mentor for Senior Implementation Managers and Solutions Architects, providing strategic guidance on governance, stakeholder management, and technical delivery.
•Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate implementation learnings and customer feedback into product roadmap inputs and pre-sales scoping improvements.
•Implement rigorous project health monitoring, risk escalation frameworks, and quality assurance standards to maintain CSAT and net revenue retention (NRR).

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation, professional services, solutions architecture, or management consulting, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership or director-level capacity at a SaaS or B2B enterprise technology company.
•Demonstrated success overseeing complex, multi-workstream enterprise deployments, including integrations with major ERPs such as Workday, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
•A track record of scaling professional services or implementation teams from startup/mid-market to enterprise maturity by designing robust methodologies, playbooks, and KPIs.
•Exceptional focus on mentorship and leadership development, including coaching individual contributors into strategic advisors and future team managers.
•Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, comfortable managing scope creep with C-level stakeholders.
