Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage costs for civil and building projects from inception to final account, ensuring expenditures are minimized and revenue maximized without harming relationships.
  • •Administer subcontractors and follow company procedures; monitor site progress details with site and technical teams.
  • •Handle client site instructions, variation orders, and contractual/commercial correspondence, including preparing backup documentation and justifications.
  • •Submit payment applications to the employer on time, manage cash flow and budget preparation with at least monthly monitoring, and complete reconciliations and cost-to-complete/profitability projections.
  • •Ensure tendering and packages preparation follow standard procedures, place subcontracts on approved terms/templates, and coordinate valuation and payment/certification timelines (including back-to-back variations with the main contract).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years working experience, including at least 5 years relevant quantity surveying experience.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, plus a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (or related field).
  • •Strong knowledge of bill of quantities and principles of measurement (e.g., International 1979, NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM, QCS, FIDIC).
  • •Experience preparing and managing client instructions, interim valuations, variation orders, and associated backup documentation and justifications.
  • •Proficiency with computer-based quantification tools (e.g., CCS/Candy), AutoCAD for quantity takeoff, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and preferably SAP ERP.
