Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain the foundation systems and services that support Alpaca’s trading platform.
  • •Build and enhance middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, internal React UI, and third-party vendor integrations.
  • •Collaborate with core teams to evolve the framework supporting multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
  • •Troubleshoot incidents and reported bugs to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • •Serve as operational reliability and engineering lead, acting as incident commander during regional business hours and providing on-call support as needed.
