Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all Ultrasound imagery procedures independently or under supervision of senior sonographer
  • •Analyze output and report to supervisor as needed
  • •Evaluate ultrasound images for quality and forward to radiologist for review
  • •Maintain safe and competent use of radiology equipment and adhere to infection control
  • •Participate in quality improvement, SOPs, and staff education within the department

Key Requirements

  • •NLT 2 years post graduate experience in ultrasound in an acute care hospital, including Doppler, obstetrics/gynecology and abdominal sonography, with at least 2 years’ experience as a senior ultrasound radiographer in an acute care hospital
  • •NLT 4 years post graduate experience in ultrasound in an acute care hospital, including Doppler, obstetrics/gynecology and abdominal sonography
  • •UAE National: NLT 2 years post graduate experience in general radiography
  • •Post Graduate Ultrasound Diploma Certificate (desirable)
  • •Special Certificate (as indicated in qualification section)
