Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
  • •Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, method statements, and as-built drawings; verify compliance with approved samples and material specifications.
  • •Monitor architectural finishes and façade-related works (including waterproofing, roofing, ceilings, partitions, flooring, glazing, joinery, and fit-out) to meet quality standards and installation requirements.
  • •Prepare and issue NCRs, Site Observation Reports (SORs), Snag Lists, and RFIs as required; monitor contractor quality control and corrective actions.
  • •Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural, MEP, and specialist systems; support the Resident Engineer and mentor Site Inspectors and junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
  • •Minimum 10 years' post-graduate experience in architectural site supervision.
  • •Minimum 5 years' UAE/GCC experience on large-scale building projects.
  • •Experience working within an engineering consultancy or multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of UAE Building Codes and authority requirements.
