Job Summary

Lead data science initiatives within Visa Consulting & Analytics, partnering with client-facing and internal teams to turn Visa data assets into commercially viable, data-driven solutions. Provide subject-matter expertise and quality assurance, and feed recurring client needs and market trends into the data science product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop a deep understanding of Visa data assets and value-added services, translating them into commercially viable propositions across acquisition, usage, and retention.
•Partner with Sales, VCA, and Product teams to identify opportunities, shape client conversations, and convert insights into funded projects.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems, commercial outcomes, and success metrics, translating them into structured analytical and delivery plans.
•Execute data science projects using appropriate statistical and AI techniques, delivering business-centric insights supported by storytelling and impactful visualisation.
•Provide subject-matter expertise and quality assurance across complex data science engagements, ensuring analytical rigor and alignment with client objectives.

Key Requirements

•Advanced analytics and AI experience applying techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, experimentation, and agentic AI systems to deliver measurable business outcomes.
•Strong hands-on data preparation and feature engineering, including cleaning, transforming, and validating large, complex datasets.
•Programming skills in Python and SQL, including production-grade data manipulation and ML workflows (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn or equivalent).
•Experience designing and implementing agentic AI workflows (multi-step reasoning pipelines, tool-augmented agents, orchestration frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph/AutoGen) and evaluating reliability in production.
•Familiarity with LLM integration patterns such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), function/tool calling, and memory management within agentic architectures.
