Job Summary

Own controllership activities for AECOM’s Netherlands operations, supporting statutory compliance, financial reporting, and accounting operations. You’ll prepare statutory accounts and audit documentation, manage CIT/VAT/payroll reporting, and drive month-end close analysis with reconciliations. The role also supports OCF forecasting and variance reporting, and coaches teams across GBS/SSC (R2R, P2P, O2C) for key finance deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare statutory accounts and supporting documentation, liaising with external auditors, and supervise statutory administration for compliance.
•Prepare and submit CIT returns and VAT returns, and compile and submit CBS reporting.
•Drive month-end close analysis, including SG&A cost analysis, accrual journal entries, payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and turnover/WIP reconciliations.
•Support OCF forecasting and prepare quarterly variance reports and completion trackers for CE Finance.
•Provide supervision and coaching for GBS/SSC deliverables, oversee fixed assets register reconciliation, manage operational lease accounting, and conduct internal audit reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•5-7 years of experience in accounting, controllership, or financial reporting.
•Strong understanding of Dutch GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
•Experience with VAT, CIT, and payroll accounting in the Netherlands.
•Proficiency in Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems; strong analytical and communication skills.
