Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings using CADWorx, Autodesk Plant 3D, and SP3D, including pipe models and isometrics.
  • •Create and modify detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings and develop PFDs, PIDs, and 3D piping/equipment models with detail design drawings using vendor inputs.
  • •Develop piping plans, general layouts, plot plans, and site topographical survey drawings and data; ensure drawings are issued and filed per QA process.
  • •Coordinate with design teams and a multi-disciplinary project team, including liaising with a Canadian lead office as required, and provide regular status updates.
  • •Perform drawing reviews for compliance with client drafting standards and support material and quantity takeoff coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of experience in piping modelling and 2D drafting.
  • •Should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical or a relevant field.
  • •Proficiency with CADWorx Plant Professional, Autodesk Plant 3D, and SP3D; plus reasonable AutoCAD and MS Office skills.
  • •Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D CAD and piping ISO drawings and models.
  • •Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills, including attention to detail and the ability to work in a LEAN environment.
