Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform duties related to detention, processing, safeguarding, security, escort, and transport of male detainees under the contract.
  • •Exercise surveillance and control to maintain order and discipline; enforce detention facility rules and regulations.
  • •Provide care, custody, and control of detainees, including during deportation/exclusion hearings and while receiving medical care.
  • •Inspect, maintain, and care for authorized equipment (including authorized firearm, restraint items, ballistic vests) and requalify with weapon quarterly.
  • •Complete logbook entries, conduct security/sanitation checks and full vehicle inspections, augment staff as needed, and follow safety policies and training requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of security, law enforcement, or military experience (or a 4-year accredited undergraduate/graduate education as substitution).
  • •3-year clean driving record and ability to maintain a valid state driver’s license or CDL (as required).
  • •US citizen or a person lawfully admitted for permanent residence who has resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance, pass criminal background/consumer credit checks, and complete pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •At least 21 years old and able to obtain/maintain Florida armed security G license and Florida security guard D license (as required).
