Job Summary

Senior-level Real-Time Optimization consultant responsible for implementing AVEVA APO-based RTO solutions in refinery and petrochemical units. Interfaces with customers to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliant, high-quality deployment. Hybrid role in Al Khobar, collaborating with the Global Optimization group to optimize operations and support installed RTO applications.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement Real Time Optimization (RTO) applications in Refinery and Petrochemical units based on AVEVA Process Optimization (APO).
•Maintain and support the installed RTO applications base.
•Act as the technical interface with customers to define and agree project requirements.
•Ensure the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality and documentation; troubleshoot technical problems during execution.
•Monitor and control the assigned work scope against the project plan, manage change control and identify risks/opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Chemical Process and/or Control Engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience in optimization of refinery and/or petrochemical operations and/or planning.
•Expert user of rigorous refinery process simulation packages or expert in advanced control applied to refinery/petrochemical operations or both.
•Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
