Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop commercial relationships with hospital hematology opinion leaders and decision makers to maximize access to Alexion products.
  • •Establish and maintain contacts with hematologists and other hospital and office-based healthcare personnel, pharmacists, and nurses.
  • •Analyze the territory to detect and develop relevant centers for rare hematology diseases.
  • •Provide educational and commercial services and sell Alexion products within legal boundaries according to strategy.
  • •Plan and execute local educational sessions, collaborate cross-functionally, and maintain timely CRM reporting including pharmacovigilance information.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years biotechnology/pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in orphan market (or alternatively a Master of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or comparable).
  • •Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment consistently.
  • •Ability to plan and manage scientific events and related project work.
  • •Ability to build professional relationships with healthcare providers in community and academic centers.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus strong presentation skills to uncover and address customer needs and concerns.
