Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive and manage tooling teams to ensure tooling development, commercialization, and production meet lead time, quality, rejection rate, productivity, and price conformity targets.
  • •Manage tooling creation and tooling manufacturing processes within assigned factory/factory groups, ensuring adidas innovation technologies and processes are implemented.
  • •Coordinate tooling costing inputs (including theoretical weight and cycle time verification) and support LO cost and mold supplier lean programs.
  • •Ensure tooling data availability and quality in the regional tooling data management system, and manage audits, product security, and mold shop performance tracking (RFT, OTD).
  • •Lead capability building and governance for CAD creation, rapid prototyping, and mold creation, including publishing/evaluating PCT policies and running technical training and visitor scheduling.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in engineering, materials, or related areas.
  • •7+ years of relevant business experience including product development, engineering, technical service, and production.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of tooling design and mold making/manufacturing, including CAD, CAM, and rapid prototyping.
  • •Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and process automation.
  • •Fluent English (written and spoken) and strong MS Office skills, including CAD software (e.g., Rhino or similar).
