Key Responsibilities

  • •Commission, program, and set up graphics and communications links for assigned projects, including end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing.
  • •Document point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operation, and complete job close-out requirements.
  • •Act as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems on-site.
  • •Coordinate with the team leader and customer to understand installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/controls; technical school or formal training preferred.
  • •Experience with electrical and/or commercial HVAC controls/building automation systems (1+ years).
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred.
