Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical engineering design work on assigned renewable and BESS projects under senior staff guidance.
  • •Collaborate with project teams to develop electrical engineering design schedules and budgets.
  • •Perform solar PV and BESS system design (array layouts, DC string sizing, equipment layouts, utility interconnections) and energy production modeling.
  • •Develop engineering calculations and construction drawing support (one-lines, network diagrams) and create construction/equipment specifications.
  • •Support full project lifecycle from feasibility through commissioning and participate in client/team meetings with occasional travel.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or an engineering-related discipline plus 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • •Demonstrated experience designing and integrating utility-scale renewable and battery storage systems.
  • •Current PE license and ability to attain additional states by comity.
  • •8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • •Knowledge of industry software and power system modeling tools such as Homer, NREL SAM, ForgeSolar, Helioscope, ETAP, and/or SKM.
