Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct research on cases prior to adjudication by gathering information from petitions, applications, supporting documents, internet sources, telephone calls, and government/commercial/open-source databases.
  • •Evaluate datasets and interpret the relevance of gathered information, including numerical statistics and legal/open-source documents, to support fraud-related determinations.
  • •Ensure the integrity and accuracy of record keeping systems and the veracity of data collected before entering it into those systems.
  • •Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings, and coordinate with agency personnel and other government agencies to facilitate information sharing on fraud or potential criminal activity.
  • •Maintain working knowledge of resources related to eligibility requirements and handle Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES) information, including identifying trends and improvement areas in related memos.
