Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the strategy and roadmap for shipping and fulfillment, prioritizing merchant retention and contribution per shipment.
  • •Decide routing and pricing for each order: provider, service level, cost, and what the merchant pays.
  • •Improve measurable delivery reliability metrics including first-attempt success, service-level accuracy, exception rate, return to origin, and COD reconciliation.
  • •Build and maintain the integration layer for onboarding new providers and keeping systems stable (status mapping, retries, fallbacks, monitoring).
  • •Extend the product beyond last mile by selecting capabilities for merchant-retention impact and owning the shipping economics and related performance-based volume shifts.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven ownership of a shipping, fulfillment, or order-management product on a multi-business platform, with measurable impact (delivery success rate, service-level accuracy, exceptions, COD accuracy, or cost per shipment).
  • •Commercial fluency in shipment economics, including building/pricing or renegotiating a rate card and explaining how zone, weight, service level, COD, surcharges, and failed deliveries affect parcel cost.
  • •Deep experience beyond last mile in at least two areas: inventory placement, warehousing/third-party orchestration, pick and pack, first-mile pickup, reverse logistics, or cross-border.
  • •Technical grounding in integrations (interfaces, webhooks, status mapping, retries, reconciliation) and the ability to diagnose and ensure long-term integration stability.
  • •Experience as a single product owner for a dedicated engineering squad, plus 7+ years in product management; full professional fluency in Arabic and English required.
