Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level, in-depth technical presentations and product/technology consulting to customers, prospects, and channel partners in the territory.
  • •Support RFI/RFP responses and organize and lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
  • •Design solutions that meet customer requirements, including setting PoC success criteria and working with customer project teams on design and PoC labs.
  • •Participate as a specialist on assigned virtual teams and contribute to other team activities.
  • •Support business growth by assuming a team-lead role for the account team when additional resources are needed; also support technical training for partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent in German and English with excellent presentation skills.
  • •Strong pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory for similar roles.
  • •Deep knowledge of fundamental networking technologies including Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, overlay networking/VPNs, Wi-Fi operation and design, and network security principles.
  • •Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based network management platforms, network virtualization, network management/orchestration software, SD-WAN, and automation via scripting and APIs.
  • •Ability to support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and detailed design requirements, including hands-on lab experience and participation in PoC activities.
