Key Responsibilities

  • •Rig up and rig down surface and downhole well logging equipment on work locations to record subsurface geologic formations.
  • •Operate well logging equipment at the job site and assemble downhole well logging tools, including electric, nuclear, and sonic tools.
  • •Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on downhole and surface well logging equipment.
  • •Perform pre and post job vehicle and equipment inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Learn to operate pressure control equipment; ensure work supports cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school (or similar) education with about 6 months of experience as an Operator Assistant-L&P, II.

  • •Must communicate effectively and be able to perform basic math and basic reading/writing; basic computer skills preferred.
