Job Summary

Own hands-on security for a revenue platform that handles customers’ most sensitive data. You’ll secure the AWS environment and codebase, drive least-privilege identity and access, and turn one-off fixes into durable org-wide controls. Partner with engineering on CI/CD security and developer tooling, and help ensure AI coding agents operate safely against real systems while collaborating closely with Adyen’s security organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Own application and infrastructure security across the AWS environment, including threat modeling and remediation
•Own identity and access, from least-privilege IAM to auditable access for engineers and AI agents
•Set the security baseline for the engineering org by converting fixes into durable controls
•Build security into shipping workflows by partnering on CI/CD and developer tooling
•Shape safe operation of AI coding agents against real systems, partnering closely with Adyen’s security team

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in software or security engineering
•Hands-on experience securing cloud-native systems (AWS preferred) with ability to read/write code
•Depth across application and product security, IAM/access management, vulnerability management, and detection/response
•Solve security problems structurally to make the safe path the default
•Comfortable operating as Orb’s first dedicated security hire with a lot of autonomy
