Key Responsibilities

•Politely greet and welcome guests, provide venue information, and assist guests to tables and other areas to ensure satisfaction.
•Use the HOB reservation/wait system to control guest flow and estimate/quote accurate wait times.
•Follow House of Blues safety, health, and sanitation standards, including opening, running, and closing procedures.
•Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinances and HOB alcohol policies, including ID checks and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
•Market events by placing marketing literature on dining tables and properly answer guest questions about the menu, venue, events, and artists.

Key Requirements

•Ability to work nights and weekends with punctual attendance.
•Attention to detail and a positive attitude in a high-volume, sometimes stressful environment.
•Working knowledge of restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, and problem solving.
•Skill in diplomacy, multitasking, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent (paid training provided).
