Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate and/or direct investigations of commercial property claims, including interviewing insureds/claimants, inspecting damage, preparing estimates, evaluating coverage and determining liability and total loss value.
  • •Establish total value of loss, identify subrogation potential, review available coverage, and negotiate settlements.
  • •Arrange repairs of insured losses and maintain complete claim file documentation.
  • •Communicate with insureds and agents regarding settlement/adjustment and direct necessary experts.
  • •Coordinate post-loss CAT activity, work with regional CAT coordinators, consult regional offices on property claims, and assist with training and policy/procedure development.
