Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate enterprise service delivery strategy and annual priorities into cluster delivery plans, providing accountable leadership for technology service availability, performance, and user experience.
  • •Lead, coach, and performance-manage school-based IT teams; set service expectations, manage capacity/rota coverage, and promote safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
  • •Manage delegated cluster technology budgets, procurement activity, licensing, asset lifecycles, supplier performance, and value-for-money initiatives within governance.
  • •Implement cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements with central teams; oversee identity/access controls and vulnerability remediation evidence gathering.
  • •Coordinate technology projects, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations; standardize technology processes/documentation/controls and drive continuous improvement using service data, risk registers, and feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • •At least five to seven years of progressive experience in IT service delivery, infrastructure, or technology operations, including at least three years in a leadership role.
  • •Demonstrable experience supporting multiple sites or a complex, customer-facing organization, with education experience strongly preferred.
  • •Proven responsibility for teams, budgets, suppliers, infrastructure, and technology projects, including critical incident and cybersecurity risk management, business continuity, and service improvement.
  • •Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, endpoint management, identity and access management, networking/Wi‑Fi, backup, cloud technologies, and ITIL service management.
