  • •Commission, program, and set up graphics and communications links; perform end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing on assigned projects.
  • •Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation, and job close-out requirements; complete and maintain job paperwork.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact and diagnose and repair equipment and systems at the customer’s location to ensure satisfaction.
  • •Stay current on Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.
  • •Plan and complete assigned projects; provide training and follow-up training at customer sites and maintain safety and asset accountability.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent (or accredited technical school completion); typically 7+ years of HVAC/controls experience.
  • •Previous DDC controls system experience including point-to-point verification, programming, sequencing, commissioning, and graphics.
  • •Ability to read mechanical drawings and control submittals.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (e.g., DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
