Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with WSP in India design teams to confirm project briefs, deliverables/programme, required resources, and project fees.
  • •Own the quality of detailed design to WSP in India and global Building Regulations standards, including technical reviews and sign off.
  • •Coordinate design work with due consideration of Health & Safety, Construction Design Management, and Quality Assurance standards.
  • •Review CAD analysis outputs and determine additional checking levels as needed.
  • •Lead and develop the emerging Buildings electrical team, including recruitment, mentoring/coaching, KPI reporting, and improving technical and delivery processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing Building Services for projects, with a track record in a similar role.
  • •Experience in engineering Building Services design and delivery aligned to technical reviews and sign-off standards.
  • •Conversant with electrical/technical building-services software such as IES, Amtech, Hevacomp, Relux, and Dialux.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and (ideally) British Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, with membership to an accredited engineering body.
  • •Fluent English with strong technical terminology knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
