Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, including concept scoping, trade-off analyses, should-cost/clean-sheet models, and joint design development via statements of work.
  • •Drive development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers; manage NPI component procurement and CAPEX.
  • •Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility; complete BOM risk assessment including alternate component sourcing.
  • •Lead cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost (maximize TCO) and manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs/import-export costs and cost inflation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience, ideally with design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Advanced sourcing experience, including stints as commodity/sourcing managers.
  • •Supplier development and early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirement realization.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or other related technical degree preferred; U.S. Person status required for export-controlled data access.
