Job Summary

Cost Engineer responsible for driving cost performance reporting on major projects, developing cost control data structures, establishing budgets, tracking actuals and accruals, forecasting ETC/EAC, and delivering Earned Value Management reports to support project baselines and change control.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop cost control data structures to accurately track and control actual costs.
•Establish and set the project control budget aligned with agreed baselines.
•Track actual costs for internal and external expenditure against cost controls structures.
•Monitor project accruals and commitments against budget constraints.
•Build project forecasts including ETC and EAC.

Key Requirements

•Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with proven working experience in the delivery of project controls services for major projects or programmes.
•Experience delivering cost engineering across major projects and across the full project lifecycle (pre-investment, design development, execution and commissioning).
•CIMA qualification would be welcomed.
•Experience with cost management systems such as Prism and Ecosys and interfacing with SAP and Oracle.
•Ability to define project cost procedures and standards for the project/programme.
