Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform precise surveying and setting-out activities for stormwater and microtunneling works, including shafts, tunnels, pipelines, chambers, and related civil structures.
  • •Carry out topographic, control, and setting-out surveys for pipelines, shafts, manholes, and associated structures.
  • •Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids in coordination with contractors’ survey teams using approved IFC drawings and coordinate systems.
  • •Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, pipe inverts, tunnel drives, shaft locations, and microtunneling drive alignments to allowable tolerances during and prior to construction.
  • •Maintain survey records and support as-built verification and handover by validating contractor as-built drawings and final levels/coordinates while ensuring HSE compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in surveying and setting-out for infrastructure projects, especially stormwater drainage and micro tunneling works.
  • •Proven experience with deep pipeline, shaft construction, and tunnel alignment monitoring.
  • •Strong understanding of coordinate systems, datum control, and vertical alignment verification.
  • •Prior UAE experience, especially in Dubai, with familiarity of RTA and DM project procedures.
  • •Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; RTA approval/certification for Microtunneling Works is mandatory.
